Off-White founder Virgil Abloh is back at it again, recreating iconic Nike silhouettes the only way he can. This time around, Abloh took over the Nike Dunk to create a hybrid version of the shoe, the Nike Off White Rubber Dunk UNC.
The Off White Rubber Dunk, dubbed the UNC, draws inspiration from one of Jordan’s most successful colourways. An eclectic mix of blues, whites and greys span across the entire upper, whilst rubber accents also feature. This shoe is the first time Virgil has had a signature sneaker with the sportswear powerhouse.
The uppers come crafted from a mix of rubbers, synthetic leathers and mesh. The deconstructed look that we have become accustomed to with Abloh’s collaborations of course feature, with the tongues of the shoe possessing raw edges. You will find a rubber gum sole underfoot, which houses the legendary Nike Air technology. A visible air bubble can be found at the heel of the Nike x Off White Rubber Dunk sneaker, a nod towards Tinker Hatfield’s iconic silhouettes.
Abloh’s collaborations are always a hit amongst sneakerheads. We expect his first signature sneaker with Nike to outperform them all. Be sure to cop the Nike Off White Rubber Dunk before it’s too late.
